Dr. Keshav Shukla is a life member of BSNA since its inception. He has
been the President of BSNA, Texas Chapter
and has organized several BSNA meetings in Greater Houston Area. Dr.
Shukla and his wife Mrs. Shanti Shukla
hail from Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh and are settled in Houston for
over 25 years. They are blessed with two
children and two grandchildren, all living in Houston.
Dr. Keshav Shukla is a Ph.D. in Physics from Banaras Hindu University,
Varanasi. In 1981, after his Ph.D., he joined as a Faculty at Duisburg
University, West Germany, and migrated to USA at Clemson University in
1986 before moving to Rice University (Houston) in 1988. He has enjoyed
a distinguished career as Professor of Thermodynamics in Chemical
Engineering for several years while also serving as a Technical Advisor
to oil and gas industry. Currently, he is affiliated with a major
International Oil and Gas Company in Houston as Global Manager/Technical
Director. He is associated with several international scientific
organizations such as APS, ACS, AIChE, SPE, etc, and has published
numerous papers in peer reviewed scientific journals of international
repute, presented papers at professional meetings and chaired sessions.
Community
Dr. Shukla has been involved in various social, religious and cultural non-profit organizations in Texas for more than 24 years. He is one of the founding members of Hindus of Greater Houston, a social, religious and cultural organization serving Hindu community for over 20 years. He was a Board Member of a major Temple in Houston. He has been involved in several community services not only in Greater Houston Area but also across USA by performing socio-religious activities/sacraments and promoting Vedic Culture and Values amongst Hindus as well as non-Hindu community. As a hobby, he has also received Shastri degree in religion from Department of Sanskrit, BHU. He is the founding President and active Board Member of the registered (2001) non-profit organization, BHU Alumni Association of America, which was originally established in Houston in 1981. He has continued involvement in supporting several other social and cultural organizations in USA.

Dr. Rajesh Shukla obtained his Ph.D. degree in Chemical
Engineering from Drexel University, Philadelphia. He did masters in
Chemical Engineering from IIT, Kanpur.
In USA, Dr. Shukla worked in Bitech industry as Senior Scientist. Subsequently he started his own business. Dr. Shukla has business interest in retail, hospitality, manufacturing as well as power. He has expressed his interest in assisting Brahman organizations, especially BSNA.
Mr. Bharat Mohla (current Vice President of BSNA) is a community leader and the unity among Sacramento Chapter is due to results of his tireless efforts. He is a team player and very well respected among the community. He is known for his negotiation power and strategic planning. He has served on the BSNA Chapter Board and Vice President of BSNA (2007-2009) at national level. He was instrumental in organizing the 14th annual convention of BSNA in Sacramento. He is an accomplished executive in his professional life.
